The wallchair plays with conventional visual habits.

The chair in general is an object which we perceive strongly in its connection with its function as seating accommodation, since it usually appears in this manner. However, especially the chair is often diverted from its intended use and is used as a ladder, a storage area for books or as clothes rack.

The wallchair responds to both aspects. On the one hand, it refers to visual habits, which are intended to be broken once in a while in order to see apparently well-known things from a different perspective. On the other hand, it discusses the fact of the “misuse”, which should be emphasized with all its consequences.
